Run FAE

The Functional Accessibility Evaluator (FAE) evaluates a website or a single web page based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level A and AA requirements.

Website Report

You must have a user account to evaluate a website.

Register for a free user account to gain access to these additional features:

  • Evaluate multiple pages via web crawling
  • Creates a Summary Report that identifies problem design features (e.g. rules) and pages
  • Reports are saved in an Archived Reports list

Single Page Report

Use the following form or AInspector for Firefox to evaluate a single web page without creating an account:

Ruleset
Both rulesets support the evaluation of web resources for WCAG 2.0 requirements, but require different techniques based on the technologies used to author the web resouce. The HTML5 and ARIA Techniques ruleset is for new and recent development that uses the HTML5 features. The HTML4 Legacy Techniques is for older development based on HTML4 technologies, that pre-date the availability of ARIA.
