Rule ID Landmark 14
Definition The search landmark must only contain region landmarks.
Purpose
  • A search landmark identifies a form on the page used to search for content across the entire website.
  • For search landmarks containing more than one search option and where each option can be represented as its own section, use region landmarks to identify these sections.
  • Ensuring that the landmark structure of a page is not overly complex enables users of assistive technologies to more easily find and navigate to the desired content.
